De ontwikkelingen in 3D-technologie worden steeds toegankelijker voor particulieren. Je moet wel wat know how hebben om de software te begrijpen en te bedienen, maar dat is ook steeds meer beschikbaar. Ik ben gewoon maar gaan Google-en, naar wat er in m’n directe omgeving beschikbaar was.<\/p>\n

STL staat voor STereoLithografie. Ook wordt het wel Surface Tessellation Language of Standard Triangle Language genoemd. Dat is de benaming voor de technische tekening (de file, het bestand) die ontstaat wanneer je met een 3D-scanner een opname maakt.<\/p>\n

Er zitten dus wel een aantal stappen tussen: ergens heengaan om de 3D-scan te laten maken, tot een bruikbaar STL-bestand. Let dus op, dat elke stap volledig is. Dat je uiteindelijk niet met een onbruikbaar bestand zit. Want de uiteindelijke pop (een prototype) kost geld. En het is zo jammer als je dan een tussenstap bent vergeten.<\/p>\n

Welke onderkleding draag je voor je scan?<\/h3>\n

Trek het ondergoed aan, dat je ook het meeste zou dragen onder je gemaakte kleding. Op die manier wordt de paspop zo veel mogelijk een model dat dagelijks op je lijkt. De scanner kan geen donkere kleding scannen, dus trek lichtgekleurd of huidkleurig ondergoed aan. En zorg dat dit glad en aangesloten zit.<\/p>\n

Wellicht ten overvloede, maar ik wil het toch gezegd hebben: zorg dat je je veilig voelt tijdens de 3D-scan. Je staat (waarschijnlijk) ergens in je ondergoed. En voor een goeie scan moet je ontspannen staan. Ga samen met een bekende: dat is gezellig en veilig. Misschien willen jullie wel allebei een paspop op maat. Zo help je elkaar.<\/p>\n
